Crisp almond flavored cookies, these amaretti are the classic little, crispy treats. Tasting purely of almond,  they may be enjoyed as is, with coffee, tea or a glass of dessert wine. They are also often ground into fine crumbs to sprinkle on gelato or ice cream or to be used in cakes and other desserts.
